The European Caravanning Association (ECA) was formed in October 1977. It is a small club with membership open to Caravan and Motor Caravan Owners, its original aim was to bring together caravanners wishing to foster European family caravanning.  In achieving this aim it was inevitable that a U.K. rallying club would evolve where experienced and inexperienced continental travellers could meet.

The European Caravanning Association (ECA) is a club with inexpensive membership, non profit making, run for caravanners by caravanners, any commercial advantages obtained are passed directly to our members. 

A rally is a very informal affair, members doing their own thing during the day and maybe a get together during the evening for a drink and a chat, or a barbecue depending on the weather.  We hold rallies from Scotland to Cornwall, and in Continental Europe, and mainly consist of weekends plus Holiday rallies throughout the year. Rallies are mainly held on commercial sites with a good discount from the normal site fee, plus the bonus of staying on site on the last day of the rally until 5.00pm.
